Q. Whats IttyBitty?
A. Ittybitty is a website full of creative products for creative individuals. The IttyBitty products are made by Dawn, Barb (Jinky) and more recently, Art. Q. What are the software requirements for using your products?\
A. Our products work with both PC's and MAC's english speaking versions of photoshop. We recommend that you have the latest version of Photoshop and will support the latest version. However, we have tested some of our products in other versions. Below is a list of what can and cant work :
Cards : : The jpg flat files will work in any program that opens jpgs. The PSD files require any version of photoshop. Be aware that if you do purchase the cards for the jpg version, you will only be able to open a flat file, and wont be able to place a photo under, rather only on top. MASSIVE DOWNLOAD. You do need a fast connection.
Borders : : Any version of photoshop - as long as you are able to open psd files. MASSIVE DOWNLOAD. You do need a fast connection.
Collage & Storyboard Actions : : These have been tested in photoshop cs & up. (cs, cs2, cs3 included).
52 Action set : : You require photoshop cs and up. (cs, cs2, cs3 included)
The Sweet set : : You require photoshop cs2 or cs3.
Marketing Templates : : Photoshop cs, cs2, cs3.
Q. What exactly is an action?\
A. Actions are a way to simplify steps you would normally manually perform in Photoshop. An action is a file that you load into your actions pallet (Google PS actions for more detail).\'ca Then when you want to use the action, you press play, and it does all of the work for you.\'ca Whether it's color correction, converting to black and white, or building storyboards.\'ca We do recommend you have some Photoshop\'a8 experience before using or investing in these actions.\'ca It is your responsibility to know how actions work, before purchasing.\ \
Q. Do your products work with Elements? \
A. No and yes.. All of our products were created on CS, CS2 or CS3, and some will not work with earlier versions because some of the basic steps needed to perform the actions are not available in Elements. We recommend the latest version of photoshop however see above for further details.
Q. How and when will I receive the products?\
A. After you purchase our products, you will be directed on how to download your purchases. We do not provide CD's and will not mail anything directly.\ \
Q. Are your cards customizable?\
A. Text can be added to customize the cards. Colors and artwork cannot be modified. These are custom made cards designed to showcase your image in the best possible way.\ \
Q. How do I use the actions I just purchased?\
A.\'ca Actions are really easy. Save the file somewhere you will be able to find it when needed. \'caTo load the action open up your action window in Photoshop\'a8, click on the arrow in the top right hand corner of the window and goto load action. \'caThen simply go to the folder that you saved the action in.\'ca To run the action, expand the action set in the action window and click on the action that you would like to run then press play at the bottom of the action window. You will be prompted when something you need to do is required.\'ca If you are still confused, Google PS Actions to learn more. A .txt file is also included with each set with more detailed instructions.\ \
Q.\'ca I get inconsistent results with the color actions, why is this?\
A.\'ca There is no easy answer here.\'ca Proper white balance, exposure, lighting, etc. are all significant factors in achieving results reflected on our site.\'ca Results will vary depending on all of these factors.\'ca These actions will not "save" your underexposed or poorly executed images.\'ca Rather, they should be used to enhance your images.\'ca Results will vary picture to picture.\ \
Q.\'ca What are the sizes of the Custom Storyboards?\
A.\'ca\'ca 20 x 18, 20 x 20, 30 x 12, 30 x 20, 30 x 15 and 30 x 14\'ca (These ALL require custom framing as well as printing in some cases)\ \
Q.\'ca Do you offer refunds if I am not happy with the results of the actions?\
A.\'ca Due to the nature of our products, refunds are not provided.\ \
Q.\'ca My computer crashed, and I lost all my actions.\'ca Can you send them again?\
A.\'ca Please provide us with the email address used when purchasing the actions, and we will check the status and forward the actions to you again.\'ca We suggest you burn all of your actions to CD for safe keeping as we can not promise that we can send them back to you.\ \
